If you are a sports fan who enjoys adding excitement to watching matches with a bit of betting, we888 is the right place for you. The we888 sports betting platform is designed not just for those who know a lot about sports — but also for those who are new to it, thanks to an interface that is easy to navigate even if you are opening an account for the very first time.
What makes we888 a top choice for Malaysian players is the combination of comprehensive markets, competitive odds, and platform stability. Nothing is more frustrating than wanting to place a bet right before a penalty kick, only for the system to freeze up. At we888, that rarely happens — and when a technical issue does occur, the support team is ready to assist within a short time.
Betting Types at we888
We888 offers a diverse range of betting types suited to players of all levels. Whether you prefer betting on the final result only, or diving deeper into statistics for more detailed selections, all options are available here.
1X2 – Full Time Result Betting
This is the most basic and most popular form of betting among Malaysian players. You pick whether the home team wins (1), the match ends in a draw (X), or the away team wins (2). Simple, straightforward, and perfect for beginners. At we888, the 1X2 market is available for almost all major leagues worldwide, including the EPL, La Liga, Bundesliga, and local competitions such as the Malaysia Super League.
Asian Handicap
Asian Handicap is an extremely popular betting format in Southeast Asia, including Malaysia. In this format, the stronger team is given a negative handicap to level the playing field. For example, if Manchester City are priced at -1.5 against a weaker side, City must win by a margin of at least 2 goals for your bet to win. we888 offers handicap markets for nearly every match on the international sports calendar.
Over/Under (Total Goals)
You don't need to predict the winner — just decide whether the total number of goals in the match will go over or under a set value. This market is available across a range of lines, from 1.5 to 5.5 goals, giving every player the flexibility to choose based on their confidence.
Multi-Bet (Parlay / Accumulator)
For those who enjoy higher risk with the potential for much bigger returns, parlay betting lets you combine multiple selections on a single slip. All selections must be correct to win, but the multiplied odds can turn a small stake into a substantial payout. we888 allows parlays of up to 15 selections on a single betting slip.
Live Betting at we888
One of the most popular features among we888 users is the live betting function. This means you can place bets while a match is in progress, with odds that shift in real time based on what is happening on the field. If you are watching a match and spot a momentum shift, you can react instantly.
For example, imagine you are watching a football match and your favourite team is trailing 0-1 at the 30th minute. The odds for them to win have risen — meaning your potential return is higher if you place a bet now. This is the excitement that only live betting can offer, and we888 supports this feature across hundreds of matches every day.
The we888 platform also provides live statistical displays within the betting interface, including ball possession, total shots, cards, and corners. This information helps you make data-driven decisions rather than relying on instinct alone.
Sports Available at we888
We888 is not a platform focused solely on football. While football does dominate, a wide range of other sports are covered with comprehensive markets.
For badminton fans — and there are certainly many in Malaysia — we888 offers markets for BWF World Tour matches, Thomas and Uber Cup, and international badminton leagues. Basketball fans are well covered too, with NBA and FIBA markets including quarter-by-quarter betting. For esports enthusiasts, we888 also provides markets for DOTA 2, Mobile Legends, and CS2 matches.
This means that no matter which sport you follow, you will most likely find a market for that match on we888. This variety is one of the key strengths of our platform compared to other betting platforms available in the Malaysian market.
